Terms of Service

TRA Studio is a software-as-a-service application that helps you produce and maintain cybersecurity risk-assessment and traceability documentation for the CRA, NIS 2 and IEC 62443.

During the test phase (until 31 October 2026) the Starter plan is provided free of charge and without a payment method. After the test phase, paid plans apply at the prices published at the time of order (net, plus statutory VAT). We will inform you before any charges begin.

The Service is intended for business and professional use. You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account and for the users you invite to your organisation.

You may not: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to access other tenants' data or breach security; reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by mandatory law; or overload or abuse the API beyond its documented limits.

You retain all rights to the content and data you enter. You grant us the limited right to process it solely to provide the Service, and you are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy and completeness of your inputs. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service, its software and content (excluding your data) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.

TRA Studio is a documentation aid. It does not constitute legal, regulatory or compliance advice, and it does not provide certification or a conformity assessment. Using it does not guarantee compliance with the CRA, NIS 2, IEC 62443 or any other law or standard. You remain solely responsible for your compliance obligations and for all inputs and conclusions.

We aim for high availability. During the free test phase the Service is provided "as is", without warranty. Statutory warranty rights for paid services remain unaffected.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty), limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

Free test-phase accounts may be closed by you at any time. Paid subscriptions run and renew as stated at order. Either party may terminate for good cause, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may modify the Service or these Terms and will announce material changes with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For merchants, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Hamburg.
